Attractions Black
American West Museum: Portrays the presence and history of black cowboys
(some who led cattle drives), soldiers and pioneers in the region. Did
you know that one of the first gold discoveries in Idaho Springs, Colorado
was made by Henry Parker, a black mine owner.
LoDo
(Lower Downtown): Pubs, art galleries, cafes, people watching in old,
renovated Victorian neighborhood. Walking distance from Coors Field
(home of the Colorado Rockies baseball team), Invesco Field (Texas Rangers
baseball), Pepsi center (Denver Nuggets basketball and Colorado Avalanche
hockey) and The Performing Arts complex.

Street Mall: The primary shopping and entertainment strip of Downtown
Denver.
Mile long pedestrian walkway with shops, restaurants and boutiques.
Free shuttle service brings people from one end of the mall to the other.
Larimer
Square: 19th century brick buildings recently restored and revitalized.
Sidewalk cafes and trendy shops. This neighborhood has come full circle
in the last century, form upscale neighborhood, to blighted ghetto and
back up again.
Buffalo
Bill Museum: Grim reminder of the many Native Americans whose lives
were adversely altered and/or prematurely ended in the so-called "winning
of the west".
