Located
in southwest Europe, Spain
is a land of prodigious squares, historic fountains and buzzing
fiestas and a history which is richer and deeper than you could imagine.
The best months for traveling to Spain
are late March through June, and September through October, when the
weather is pleasant and sunny without being hot, airfare prices are
lower and there's less tourists to crowd the cafes and form long lines
at the popular attractions. Remember, most of Spain
has a Mediterranean type climate so during July and August, the heat
can be intense. Some businesses shut down around noontime because of
the heat, and to honor the daily siesta. If possible, be flexible with
your travel dates, flying just a few days earlier or later can increase
your chances of finding the cheapest flights
possible. Go!
